Jurnal Entomologi Indonesia

Jurnal Entomologi Indonesia (P-ISSN: 1829-7722; E-ISSN: 2089-0257) is an Indonesian-based scientific journal, published by the Entomological Society of Indonesia. JEI is issued every March, July, and November of each year. It publishes original research articles, reviews, and short communications covering on basic and applied science related to insects, mites, and other arthropods in agriculture, forestry, human health, and urban areas. The scope of the JEI includes biodiversity, behavior, biology, taxonomy, biosystematics, ecology, molecular biology, conservation biology, pest management, physiology, landscape ecology, land-use changes, beneficial uses of insect, and sampling methods of insects and mites or other arthropods, with a focus in the tropical archipelagic and South East Asian countries. JEI serves as a platform for disseminating valuable knowledge and research findings in the field of entomology, promoting a deeper understanding of the diverse interactions between arthropods and their environments.

The JEI was founded in 2004 and is now in its 20th year. The journal is supported by the Entomological Society of Indonesia in collaboration with the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, IPB University.

JEI is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that has been Accredited (2022-2026) base on the Ministerial Decree of the Minister of Research and Technology/Head of National Research and Innovation Agency of the Republic of Indonesia No. 105/E/KPT/2022. The JEI has been registered in Scopus as of 9 May 2025 (SJR rating in progress), DOAJ, EBSCO, CABI, SINTA Rank 2, Crossref, Google Scholar, Portal Garuda, CiteFactor, and other scientific databases.
