Jurnal Entomologi Indonesia

Jurnal Entomologi Indonesia (P-ISSN: 1829-7722; E-ISSN: 2089-0257) is an Indonesian scientific journal published by the Entomological Society of Indonesia, in collaboration with the Department of Plant Protection, Faculty of Agriculture, IPB University. Established in 2004, JEI is currently in its 22nd year of publication. The journal is published three times a year, in March, July, and November.

JEI publishes original research articles, review articles, and short communications covering both basic and applied sciences related to insects, mites, and other arthropods in agriculture, forestry, human health, and urban environments. The journal's scope includes biodiversity, behavior, biology, taxonomy, biosystematics, ecology, molecular biology, conservation biology, pest management, physiology, landscape ecology, land-use change, beneficial uses of insects, and sampling methods for insects, mites, and other arthropods, with a particular focus on tropical archipelagic regions and Southeast Asian countries.

JEI serves as a platform for disseminating valuable knowledge and research findings in the field of entomology, fostering a deeper understanding of the diverse interactions between arthropods and their environments.

JEI is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal accredited under the Decree of the Minister of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia No. 105/E/KPT/2022. The journal is indexed in Scopus, DOAJ, EBSCO, CABI, SINTA Rank 2, Crossref, Google Scholar, Portal Garuda, CiteFactor, and several other scientific databases.
